Time-lapse moving

I’ve been trying to figure out how we’re going to do one of these videos for Kat who is driving the entire length of I-90 in a few weeks from Seattle to Boston.

Currently we’re using Flix for the capture and VirtualDub for the post processing. The guy who wrote Flix is great, he’s even hacking his code to make the cross country recording easier.

Anyway – we did this video this morning while loading Kat’s Door-to-Door container ($1K from Seattle to Boston – not bad).

Needs work – needs audio/music… but we’re still figuring this stuff out.

Very cool. I saw you meditating. I bet there’s a secret frame in there of you dancing naked.

A time lapse of Route 90 from end to end would be really cool. Would probably take a very long time to watch, though. There’d be like 20 minutes of boring Nebraska plains in there.

‘Cept that 90 doesn’t go through Nebraska.
